Q. Will I be charged for this service?
A. No. We will take care of all costs and you will be under no obligation to sell to us. You will have no fees to pay.
Q. Which parts of the country do you cover?
A. Our team of affiliated purchasers cover the whole of the UK.
Q. What price do you offer for the property?
A. We will work from a fair market value taking into account the condition of the property and offer you a discounted purchase price to suit both parties, typically 80 to 85%, to reflect the speed in which we can buy your property and the work we will need to do on the property. Essentially it has to work for both of us.
Q. How long will it take?
A. We will usually exchange contracts within 14 days of receipt of your contract at our solicitors. Thereafter the time scale is up to you. On average the whole process should not take any longer than 28 days.
Q. Will I need a solicitor?
A. Yes, you will need a solicitor. You can use your own or we can recommend one to you. We will pay up to £500 towards your legal costs.
Q. What about legal fees?
A. Depending on the arrangement we make we could even pay your legal fees.
Q. When will I have to move out?
A. This up to you. There is no pressure from us, we will complete the transaction to suit you.
Q. What if my property is in poor condition?
A. Poor condition is not an issue for us as we will be able to refurbish any property we purchase.
Q. I do not want to move home, however I do need to release funds and pay off my mortgage?
A. We will work with you to find a suitable solution and in most cases we will be able to offer you a rent back. We may also be able to offer you an option to buy it back from us at some future agreed date. Should you be interested, this will be explained at the first viewing.
Q. Do you buy all types of property?
A. Yes, we buy most types of residential property subject to meeting our funding requirements.
Q. How long will your offer be valid for?
A. Our offers are usually valid for 28 days, however there will be no pressure to sell. If, however, you need more time to think about it that will be no problem.
Q. My home is about to be repossessed, can you help?
A. Yes, we should be able to liaise with your mortgage company or the courts, however speed will be important, so we will need to act quickly.
Q. I know someone who is looking to sell quickly, could they benefit from your services?
A. Absolutely. If you introduce them to us and they conclude a sale we will pay you a referral fee of up to £1000.
Q. Will anyone find out about this?
A. The sale will be handled completely confidentially and we will not advertise with signs on your property.
